Just fyi the last buses both ways have a habit of running slightly early - they tend to start on time and drive like the clappers and not observe intermediate timing points so don’t cut it too tight!

And this is the sort of reason why I avoid infrequent rural bus services if at all possible. Do they at least have tracking? I might want to visit the Wensleydale soon.

No idea, sorry. But they’re run by Procter’s (as was) if that helps

Thanks, I found the times on https://www.eastyorkshirebuses.co.uk/ and they do have tracking, there's a service 73 from Northallerton to Bedale via Leeming Bar on the move right now. It makes a big difference having tracking when the service is sparse!

Edit: I see there's another tracking site as well! I like the East Yorkshire one best though since it's identical to my local tracking site for NCT buses in Nottingham!

I live in Aiskew (edge of Bedale) and use the bus in and out of Northallerton maybe once a fortnight. In my experience the service is generally very reliable - as I said originally the only problems with early running seem to be the last ones of the day
