Wensleydale Railway - KWVR Rail crane

A friend of mine at the WR has told me that an individual or group has bought the Taylor & Hubbard 15 Tonne Rail crane from the KWVR.

I understand its going to be restored and refurbished before going into service.

I think it'll be a really useful addition, because as far as I can make out, they've never had a crane for several years and only knows how they've managed this long without one?

Looking forward to seeing it in use.

Anyone know when its getting to the WR?

I wish them well with it.

I hope they have enough use for it to justify the cost of compliance / annual checks and certification etc.
