Wembley - Forders Sidings

I have noticed a entry in the books for a Wembley - Forders service. It seems to be down to run all this week. Here is todays entry from RTT:

I caught the back working this afternoon at Fenny Stratford and noticed the train was hauled by a DBS/EWS 66 with a long train of battle scared large open wagons ( similar to a mussel) coated in what can best be described as "muck".

What was this train? What was it carrying? I assume it to be a spoil train of some kind but thought Forders had closed after the last shipment from the Bluebell Railway. Has it reopened?

It is spoil from Crossrail excavations which is loaded in Willesden Euroterminal overnight. The traffic has been running for some time now and has been going to Calvert but there is currently a train running from Acton in that path hence the re-routeing to Forders. Although it is down to run SX it does not always run every day.

The GB 73s operate a different flow - spoil from Willesden to Northfleet.

The run today seems to have been cancelled but there seems to be one down for tomorrow

As for Forders - well they nee dot fill in all of those massive brick work excavations in somehow

No, but they have a similar contract from Bow to Calvert.
