I wondered if 724/725 were due to be used as trainers.

How many trainer vehicles are needed within Wellglade overall?
Isn't there five Scanias? More sure if one Tempo is still a depot trainer. There was also talk of a Versa trainer .813

Following the collapse of CT4N last Friday, the pair of Yutong E12s used on the SEGRO East Midlands Gateway shuttle bus service have been transferred to Kinchbus along with the shuttle service itself.

CT4N's 1022 (YD24 ERV) is now Kinchbus's 9001 according to Bustimes; the other bus, 1023 (YD24 ESG), will presumably be renumbered 9002.

Optare Solo 4 has departed Notts and Derby (circa 13.15) and gone back to Kinchbus. I am told it is for service 66 (latterly CT4N). Route likely to become part of the DRT network. Partial repaints have started on the former Reading Enviro 400s.. 19 has lost the Berkshire Youth wrap, and is now part Notts and Derby green, part Reading Lion livery. White knight 1416 now has a Notts and Derby front.

I did wonder kinchbus as its a electric depot for segro rarther than nottsderby as although I know segro has charging facilities but keep bus types to one depot with drivers already trained ect. Wonder why the chose 9000s though not the current system the E12s are in.

Whats the point of only doing the front not the whole bus while in the paint shop? Money?

I don't know if a paint shop has the capacity to repaint the buses. The partial repaints are being done by staff at Derby, so there will be a cost saving. Enviro 400, 19 has even more green paint on it. It suggests it may be completely repainted.

Didnt realise they had capability to paint at derby. They dont have a paint shop do they? Other than only being partial complete the actual paint job seems decent by picture (can't see any difference to the others) so can't be a bad thing doing it in house at derby than sending externally

Didn’t stop them before… Notts+Derby have a history of painting stuff by hand, think most of the ex Lothian presidents were done at the back of A-Garage

Aren't these owned by Segro?

Interesting its in a revised livery, maybe we'll see the rest of the Mainline fleet refreshed. Mad to think they're nearly 9 years old.

107 is now branded for mainline, not rushcliffe villager.
Looks like a PVR increase will happen, pretty odd considering the mainlines current frequency is already adequate from what I can tell. I really wonder what the replacement will be for the rushcliffe villager solos will be.

Also 712 appears to be the latest vehicle to become a driver training bus

Interesting that 712 has a blue back, and 716 pink, for their driver training roles... Maybe the next two will be different again. Ideal time to get rid of the old darker red generic livery on the Volvos...;)

107 has branding for every ten minutes which is the current frequency of mainline if I’m not mistaken?

Yes, however there's now 11 branded buses for the mainline yet the PVR is only 9, I'm not too sure about trentbartons plans for the mainline/rushcliffe villager, so I won't speculate

Maybe each volvo training bus will have 1 colour each of the trentbarton bow!
