The last time I went to Hucknall, an ex Villager Volvo was on Connect. I just went to Tesco for lunch. You don't kid me..I know you love a day on Solos on Connect. Round and round, loads of times, so much so, you get dizzy.
Been interesting being on them today with 818 and 496 on there whilst the other two solos play away.
I'll give 277 another year or so, before they can do without it

Apparently the order was bumped up to 11 vehicles to accommodate them taking over the 3.
The third due to arrive today was former Reading Buses, 227. I think it needed assistance roadside.

329 definitely on RA duty today. As I understand it there are two coaches currently unavailable.
In fairness ive not seen a spare on RA (Excluding 910) since the elites came off... the yutongs have done miles better than the Volvos did.
But there were two spares for the service. One in livery and the grey spare 910.
910 is also unavailable, in addition to 2 of the branded RA coaches.
I think a red versa was used on one journey one day just to keep the service going a couple of months ago but they have been doing well otherwise. Anyway 329 is back at it's main home of the sixes on the 6X.
I’m sure the Volvos performed just as well when they were in their first year as well. As vehicles get older and gain mileage things will start to go wrong, just a shame the volvos all seemed to suffer all in one go and they couldn’t get them fixed without the support of Volvo themselves

Given so many of those are still in service today, and those due should arrive shortly, I am minded to disagree.
You are correct to an extent but when it comes to derby depots bus shortage and the fact that the coaches are 25 plates gives (I think) a valid reason to ask
