Kinch's Yutongs are E9Ls (9.5m) so are same length as the sprint Solos and E12s (12.17m) so are roughly similar length to the Volvo B7RLEs. RE 741, it's having its front replaced due to heavy leaking into the driver's cabin.

Yes, it tends to spend its days on Campus Shuttle. I believe it's also being used for driver familiarisation ahead of the actual Yutongs arriving.
Because the data on the ticket machine hasn't changed, we're not able to change it on bustimes at the moment.

CWT are busy this morning. A Comet was towed, now Allestree 265 has been towed away
The comet would of been 750 going for repair as a car went into the back of it last week

The first fire involving 804 seemed relatively minor by comparison, the chances of it making another comeback are next to none, it was surprising given its age it was brought back to life after the first incident.
It won't have been written off if it was put back on the road...
There are plenty of written-off vehicles on the road.
Being a write-off just means the insurer doesn't consider it worth fixing. Older vehicles can be written off for fairly minor damage, and I'd guess a bus company doesn't just have the value of the bus to consider, but also the cost to replace it with a similar vehicle. If they have their own engineering department then it might be cheaper for them to do the repair work than an insurer would estimate as well.

A good example elsewhere, of written off buses making a comeback, was those Stagecoach buses in the Carlisle flood. So, never say never. But in Trentbarton's case, soon the Sixes Versas will be available for another route

I ended up buying Citaro 904. With Euro 6 kit on it could have joined the rest of my Citaros in service. However it became a rich source of spare parts and went for scrap.
I don't disagree, it's exactly why I'd expect it. After all we have lightweight ADLs on a high demanding 24 hour service between Derby and Leicester

Just think. By Christmas, they might even get the ex Skylink 20 plated Enviros on the road. If they still work after sitting for so long. That would release the Twos Volvos to upgrade, by August. Trouble is ...there doesn't appear to be enough buses in service, to cover planned work.I don't disagree, it's exactly why I'd expect it. I don’t think the “upgrades” will affect availability as its like for like swaps in terms of number of buses - Theres definitely a shortage of spares at trent for multiple reasons though

Maybe from a business point of view, you can only have a number of spares. Above that, it could affect profitability etc. Just blame traffic etc for missing buses.
