Any interior pictures yet ?
Surely it would make sense to maximize seats, especially for the elderly?Re x38, I've heard they are being fitted with 2+1 seating, like the villager Darts were once upon a time. Imagine that on there now.
Obviously the daytime loading will be somewhat down per bus with so many running, but the night owl trips used to get very busy, not sure fewer seats will be a good thing.
I know that on Enviro400 MMCs there isn't, as once on the pronto a car driver alerted the bus driver to the hatch being open. I'd imagine it's probably the same on E200MMCs, unless trentbarton paid for a higher spec with a sensor!Out of curiosity, is the the rear engine hatch on E200 MMCs secured/locked or does it just need lifting up? Would the driver have a way of knowing if it was open whilst in service?
I remember when Leyland Nationals would not even start if the hatch being opened, because of the sensors. I was once asked to assist. "Slam the boot lid shut ,when I shout" said the driver. From 2 February, we'll be increasing the keyworth's frequency back to a fantastic every 15 minutes. Every journey will also serve Mount Street, right in Nottingham city centre plus we'll be running an earlier morning journey Mondays to Saturdays.
But that's not all, we'll also be introducing shiny, greener, newer, feature filled buses from the same date.
Tap here for the timetable.
Four ADLs and a Volvo!Confirmed that the keyworth goes back to every 15 mins and E200s from 2nd February

Yes it willServe Mount Street??
They already do on some journeysServe Mount Street??
Only a couple in the evening, but this is good news and should encourage journeys to the city more. They already do on some journeys
Ahh, Nottingham's bus stations are diminutive sorry excuses of bus stations compared to ones in the likes of Leicester or Derby! It also continues to show how unnecessary and useless Broadmarsh Bus Station's rebuild was, but that's for another thread!
I agree, especially as Broadmarsh feels a bit out of the way now compared to Vic bus station. The massive building site where the shopping centre once stood doesn't help that side of the city centre!Only a couple in the evening, but this is good news and should encourage journeys to the city more.

Yes it is for another thread. However and to be fair was part of a scheme that was supposed to be much better than what it's become.Only a couple in the evening, but this is good news and should encourage journeys to the city more.

I thought said demo, AD24 ADL was at Kinchbus. Maybe it left without working in service.Ahh, Nottingham's bus stations are diminutive sorry excuses of bus stations compared to ones in the likes of Leicester or Derby!
When is the ADL E100EV demonstrator supposed to turn up?
I actually had cause to use Broad marsh bus station a few weeks ago.. Well use the loo, as most of the ones at the railway station were out of action (due to an unusual blockage)....It seems very empty, very quiet, yet it was about 10.30.Yes it is for another thread. Perhaps the car park / bus station stuff should've been done after the shopping centre - hindsight is a wonderful thing.
The bus side of Broadmarsh has always been quiet when I've been there. Surprisingly, the loos have always been filthy! The coach side seems to have a consistent number of passengers waiting to board however.I actually had cause to use Broad marsh bus station a few weeks ago.. Don't quote me on this.. pretty sure it is still broken though or recently been repaired! Kinch 9 is designated Bay 7 for the time being whilst the council 'fix' it.. which is a stretch in itself!I'm not sure what the current situation is now, but last time I was there, the doors to bay 4 had been broken for about 6 months. Kinchbus 9 was stopping in whichever stand it could!
Councils fix something? Next thing people will suggest is "in a timely manner".Don't quote me on this.. pretty sure it is still broken though or recently been repaired! Kinch 9 is designated Bay 7 for the time being whilst the council 'fix' it.. which is a stretch in itself!
Yeah... Its got a weird blue-ish roof panel on the aircon unit though..715 has re-entered service today according to Bustimes.
I seem to remember this first came around when Hornby was in power, so likely just investing in shares, same was Wellglade owning shares in NET.I'm a bit late to this, but I understand Trent used to own a 6% share in what is First Leicester.
This share has been sold in Oct 2023 for just over £3M.
Does anybody know why they had this share in the first place?
Think including dividends, it was actually over £4m. Could it be related to Loughborough Coach and Bus or Barton's Leicester operation. A shareholding might well have stopped competition from that operator.. Wonder why it was sold at that time? Maybe they needed funds for new Enviros.I'm a bit late to this, but I understand Trent used to own a 6% share in what is First Leicester.
