I think the regular Skylink Derby buses only have plain white blinds, so they'd have to retrofit new blinds to at least twelve buses to be able to display the circles in the correct colour.
I presume you don't mean a red led blind. Displaying red lights on the front of a vehicle is illegal, which is why red routes in Derby got changed to green routes, when blinds were changed to such as led.
Last year I was travelling from Leicester to Derby to get trains home from there. As I knew the most suitable timing, the EMR Advance fare of £3.30 was a no brainer, even though more expensive than the Skylink bus.
What about between Loughborough and Derby?
The change to the Rushcliffe Villager to have it serve the new estate in Bingham is intriguing to say the least, given that Vectare/Central Connect serve it too, but take a far more direct route to Nottingham.Changes from the 3rd November:

I just decided to check photos of the Yutongs on Nottingham City Transport's Red Line 50, and they have red on their front blinds.

Maybe they were concerned people hadn't noticed, when it turned up on time.
I believe it was due to a shortage of trentbarton drivers & buses at the time (during Covid) so it was transferred to N+D which had more drivers and buses spare.
N&D drivers were working it for a while anyway due to shortages and it was already debranded by that point. It's just cheaper in the long run to hand it over to N&D who have lower operating costs, for a service that wasn't exactly the biggest money maker. Same goes for the 27
Must be a very comfortable and spacious journey for its passengers.
Lots of variables, traffic, which around pride park can be hectic especially during the school rush. Theres also passenger loading, if the bus is late then itll be carrying more passengers since the passengers expecting the next bus will start arriving at the stop, making it later. Not to mention how kinch drivers tend to wait for passengers to have sat down, which isn't always long but can take up a bit of time each stop. As well, sometimes they return to the (meadow road) depot for a clean and refuel, which if late can just make you even later
Not to mention roadworks as well, which as of recently have caused quite lengthy delays along multiple routes, not exclusively to skylink Derby.
