I remember 836 meeting a van , head on, in Duffield.. Now if the van had been on the correct side of the road. At the end of the day, 845 is 11/12 years old. Maybe a short term loan of an Volvo EvoRa is the best solution, so we can see how good they really are.
Maybe we could have 277 back once Sutton has finished with it.

506 is back at Derby today on the Micks

I am sure the Mickleover route loved 506. Maybe a Twos Volvo could "help out" instead. Maybe two Twos, or Three Twos. Maybe 147, or something from Kinchbus once the lovely Yutongs go on the road.

Mickleover certainly seems to be taking a hit recently, suppose solos are better than nothing at all

Struggle to work out how they are going to oust the remaining solos when they are still heavily relied on, unless there are more new buses ordered for next year…

I'd say, most Derby based routes are taking a hit at the moment. The Solo must have a part to play. Notts and Derby seem to manage to keep them working

I would imagine the intention is to cascade them from TB to the likes of n&d and TM but what Trent will use instead remains to be seen, especially when at least some of the sixes batch of versas are apparently going to n&d too

Ex Skylink E200MMC 147 has been repainted into the mango spare livery and replaces 725 at Nottingham.

725 is now at Derby, on the Comet today.

Thank you, do we know what the split is?
Well there are 7 E9Ls at Langley Mill at the moment. I think there are some more to come. No idea of fleet numbers. I'd have thought (but I don't know), that most might be E9Ls, leaving the longer model for the route 9..

There seems to be a suggestion that a Trentbarton bus may have been involved in a road traffic accident at Lower Kilburn. This is seeing diversions on Comet etc. Suspect Sixes Versa 845 might be involved.
Facebook post about this accident..

3101 (YH75RUO) and 3102 (unsure of the reg, YH75 RUR is registered on DVLA so could be that) are now branded up for sprint. Also spotted at Langley Mill are:
YH75 RUV
YH75 RUW
YH75 RUY (currently unregistered)
YH75 RVA
YH75 RVC (currently unregistered)
YH75 RVE (currently unregistered)

I wonder if the livery for the Sixes Volvos will be modified? To be honest, I'd rather the existing variant be carried over, with a couple of variations to show different landmarks on the pictures, rather than the intersecting circles livery seen recently.

They mentioned in one of the internal communications that the livery design hasnt been finished yet, but there will be differences.

Yes, whenever the opportunity arises, change things so people notice the change. I mean, whoever would have expected Derbyshire shop Birds to change their image?

What are the facilities like at the new N&D site, does it have capabilities for maintenance/cleaning/repair etc or do these have to be done at Meadow Road still? Is the plan to improve things as time goes on?

Maintenance is still carried out at Meadow Road

So much potential there. It is a big site.

Probably explains why there is a decent amount of N+D vehicles at Meadow Road at the moment.
Ideal time to have work done on Notts and Derby buses, probably with no need to move them back to Chequers Road quickly for service needs. This week there are no schools, baths, Uni, JCB , Rolls Royce etc services so there will appear to be more buses on the depot.

== Doublepost prevention - post automatically merged: ==

So by my reckoning that works out at:

7x E9Ls for the Sprint
2x E9Ls for the 5
2x E9Ls spare

2x E12s for the 2/3
3x E12s for the 9
4x E12s for the 11/12
2x E12s spare
One E9L must be for the campus shuttle.
