And to further complicate things, Trent Barton is actually still two registered companies (Trent Motor Traction Co Ltd and Barton Buses Ltd, which you still see on the sides of the buses as the registered owners). They are both owned by Wellglade Ltd which is then owned by Wellglade Group.
High Peak appears to be jointly owned by Wellglade Ltd and Centrebus East Ltd
Edit:
According to their last accounts, the legal structure is
Wellglade Holdings Ltd
|
Wellglade Ltd
|
Barton Buses
Trent Motor Traction Co
Midland General Omnibus Co
Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Traction Co
Kinchbus
TM Travel
High Peak Buses (50%)
Tramlink Nottingham (Holdings) (12.5%)
There isn't anything in the Wellglade accounts that I can see about their reported minority stake in First Leicester, so that may be owned by one of their subsidiaries. They also own a cleaning company separately to the bus operations.
