Friday last ,11/02/22 , I purchased an Anytime day return from Bucknell (BUK) to Llanelli (LLE) ,on TFW website used my Discount card. Due to, I am told, engineering works, the Heart of Wales line has a bus replacement Service at times and also ticket availability routing Via Craven Arms -Newport- Cardiff and Swansea . The time that suited me was to travel via Cardiff. That evening I realised the rugby six nations was taking place on the 12th at Cardiff and decided I didn't wish to travel on what might be very crowded trains . The ticket price was £10.60 so a cancellation fee would have taken virtually all the cost. I rang Customer services this morning and explained the position and they refunded immediately the total cost of the ticket to my Paypal account. I was expecting 60p , so I think the refund will go to my preferred charity
