Anybody have any idea what the purpose of the following is?

As advertised
Not used
London Midland
Penalty Payment (would seem obvious enough, similar to Penalty Warning, but yields nothing when combined with London Midland)
Doncaster self service
Edinburgh self service
York self service
Southern web
ATW rugby train
Vtec Midweek First (same price as weekend 1st upgrade?)
Two WK Off Peak
City cruises

Many of these are not quite station names.

London Midland for example might have been used for a promotional ticket.

For Penalty Payment you need to put ANY LM STATION* - PENALTY PAYMENT which comes up with this and then you override the price to the correct penalty charge.
*or any other TOC that has a penalty fare system!

XYZ Self Service are the location codes for the TVMs at the stations and identifies it for ticket issuing and money collecting purposes.

Southern Web, once again, is for identifying where tickets have been bought from, and where they have been printed from if they have been sent directly to you in the post.

City Cruises might be a promotional offer - like the London sightseeing bus tour ticket.

Not just TOCs which operate penalty fares. There are penalty fare entries on the system for all sorts of TOCs, including ones such as Grand Central and GNER.

The 2 week off peak location JakeF mentioned is used with a Network West Midlands ticket.

City Cruises have a 2 for 1 deal with National Rail when you travel by train to London - so I assume it'll be to show that the offer was booked on that ticket (as you normally have to present your ticket at the pier booking office before boarding).
