Weekend in the West Country!

So, here's another question, in a few weeks time I'm doing a Freedom of Devon and Cornwall 3 in 7, going out on Thursday the 6th of June and returning Sunday the 9th.

I need to get from Redhill to Plymouth on the Thursday and then back from Exeter St David's / Tiverton Parkway on the Sunday.

Anyone got any ideas for nice tricks or useful fares? I'd rather not go SWT via Honiton but have no issues with going North Downs via Guildford!

Are Thursday 6 June and Sunday 9 June both days when you will be using the Freedom of Devon and Cornwall 3 in 7 Rover?

Ah no, I'm staying in Plymouth overnight on the Thursday, then using the 3-in-7 on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The most sensible route appears to be Redhill - Reading - Plymouth

FGW have a £25 Advance on the 19:26 from Redhill, arriving at 00:11, on the 5th.

Returning on the 9th, there's £28 Advances arriving back around 23:30.

Otherwise Redhill - Tiverton Parkway SSR £58.50, and then a CDS £9.40 Tiverton -Plymouth.
