Websites to be forced to name trolls

I very much agree that using IP addresses to pin something on somebody seems a very silly idea. What if somebody went to an Internet Café to leave slanderous comments? How could they be "traced"?

If people don't like Facebook trolls... how about just not using Facebook...

Im not sure that thats going to help all that much. People enjoy using facebook as its a good communication tool with people you may not see that often. What isnt good is when people then abuse that tool to abuse people.

you could apply your logic to people getting abuse in the street by telling them not to walk down the street. Its not a very practicle solution is it?

I suppose, by its very nature as you describe, will Facebook be an obvious target for many of those people who cause proliferation of all types of mayhem.
