UNDER WATER is all I can say.

It's only a bit of water for flips sake. Nah, luckily for me, I live on top of a hill, so I'll be one of the last places to get flooded.

But my antie who lives in ludlow got flooded out and I went round yesterday to help her clear up, and it is really nasty stuff. All you can do is get on with it.

I'm happy on top of my hill though, as long as I have my waterproofs, I'm as happy to have rain than have sun, more so even, because you can't really be comfortable at 40 degrees C

I wish it floods, a ton of water travelling down my Main Road, it's on a Gradient 1 in 20 or something like that, so it's fun to go down on a Rubber Dingy 8)

We've had heavy rain, thunder and lightning pretty much all morning and still no floods. In fact in the time it's taken to get some lunch the blue sky and sun has emerged. God must love us down 'ere... The only thing underwater here is the odd bit of road that you can still drive through if you're careful. Certainly not everything down South as Fred is trying to imply, and by no means comparable to Doncaster/Sheffield etc.

It's still going from 5:00 This morning! The roads cant take anymore so they are starting to fill up. But the good new is I'm on top of a hill and also nowhere near a river!

As I've said already, there's no rain in Glasgow. Quite amazing, as Scotland's West Coast is very very wet.

Unlike Fred, I'm glad I'm not flooded. It must be terrible but, like so many other people, Coatbridge (where I live) is on a hill (!). And similar to Farnborough, it is really spelt "Absolute S**t hole".

As i caught the train into town tonight, i noticed the local Fire and Rescue Service practising pulliing people out of moving water. A very professional idea

No floods here, the field out back isn't waterlogged like it often is, despite quite a bit of rain. Sun is shining, only a few clouds about.

I've not come across any floods in my area, the news has said Bristol escaped the worst of the weather, yet I've been stuck at Gloucester as the railway was flooded, and there were no replacement coaches because of Motorway delays.

The rain hit Glasgow today. 20 minutes later it went away. Must've run out of steam.

Still find it hard to believe that Scotland's been one of the driest places in the UK for the past few days.
