2O97 had its pantograph ripped off. Wires down on up slow, down slow has lost tension and is blocked. Fasts now open. 2295 delay minutes as of 1105.

0701 Milton Keynes Central to Clapham Junction brough the wires down on the Up Slow at Wembley Central; in the immediate aftermath, I believe that all lines except the Down Fast and DC lines were closed.

At present, the unit responsible is still standing on the Up Slow, though I think that is now the only line still blocked.

What was 2O97? A 377, 350 or 321?

0701 Milton Keynes to Clapham Jn, 377 210 if the "magic box" is correct (unit still there now!)

Virgin seemed to have coped fairly well for much of the day. Just the usual chop of 1xBrum & 1xMan each hour to aid service recovery. According to NRES OHL probs where at Wembley & Watford.

London Midland told us overhead wire problems at Wembley today. DC lines were running okay as far as I was aware - (at least the Bakerloo was, Overground had Severe delays).

Well TRUST states the same so I guess it's the same unit, terminated at Wembley.

The DCs were running OK between Euston and Watford Jct on the basis of a 20 minute service. There were lots of problems on the NLL I read, due to the new 377s having problems with adhesion..

TRUST / TOPS = "magic box" ;)

Unit finally removed around 1930 last night with a class 73, anybody any idea which one? I was not close enough to see other that it looked to be a light-coloured one, possibly N/R yellow.
