WCML skeleton service after 1984 Wembley collision.

I went to school about 300yds from the WCML with a pretty much full view of it all. Pretty sure I remember DMUs and diesel hauled loco sets passing every hour or so. Possibly 117s and definitely a few 47s. Either way the overhead was shut off.

Anyone have any records of movement during this temporary running period?

There was a passenger train and freight train collision just outside Wembley Central in October 1984, with three fatalities, sadly.

There was also this event on 23rd March 1984 when all early morning service had to be diesel operated, I was working at Euston at that time and I can’t remember the reason OLE damage (possibly caused by freezing rain?) The coaches would have been up to temperature at the point of the loco change thought so if the OLE problems were relatively close to Euston it wouldn't be too bad, at least for arriving passengers.
