It's either Pendolino 38 or Pendolino 01 involved according to my brother

Didn't see a stationary Pendo when I went past. Possibly there is more than one problem?

Just safety inspections is all I've heard. The 18:46 to Preston was meant to check the lines and then normal service following. Had been going since 5pm and was causing 30minute delays at Coventry when I got the very late 19:42 to Crewe. Signallers having fun and games at Coventry and Wolves. A Pendo was changed to P2 then back to P1 again at Coventry. The Euston train came into 3 tonight at Wolves for a change. Oh well its all good fun!

Radio traffic at EUS said there was a defective Pendolino (no location given) and a broken rail at Berkhamstead

I didn't hear anything of a broken down train but the down fast was blocked between Bourne End and Ledburn Junction for around 3 hours after a Pendol reported a bad bump.
