I had a go on ECE and I couldn't recognise anything. York station looked like a mid-1990s computer game representation of York station, but I can't say I recognised much else, until Doncaster which was just the same. I then had a go on Hitchin-King's Cross which was the same story, and then uninstalled it without bothering to see Donny-Hitchin as I was too bored. I never, for one second, 'felt' remotely like I was driving the train (unlike e.g. CrossCity for BVE), and the sounds made by the trains was nothing like the real thing.
London to Brighton was silly. The fact that they think a branch line (toward Streatham Hill) at Balham is signalled as the main line just sums it up. When I saw that, I just laughed and that's not even my local area! I realised then, that it had a) not been researched properly, and b) not tested properly.
So unless WCML is on a different level altogether I couldn't see myself paying for this. Just my thoughts on EurpaeunBhaun's products.
