Is anyone else finding this route to be a buggy and a pain to play as me?
In an hour of attempting to play this route several times. I moved 0.16km, looked at the loading screen longer than I had control over a locomotive and derailed almost straight away for no obvious reason.

Also do the class 86's really handle that way? For example accelerating at warp speed and only having 0%, 60% or 100% throttle available?

The power handle works in a different way to ALL the other trains! Essentially, you tap the power up with the KB rather than using mouse controls.

If you have a 32-bit operating system, you can try the '3Gb switch' that has been a very big help to quite a few people with lower-end PCs:

Might try that last suggestion but not sure I'm now able to move, drove a Class 390 from Carlisle and got to just past motherwell but after there it still freezes.

General verify cache settings. I do recommend turning down Shadows and shader quality though.

All other routes for me runs fine maxed, but WCML is the only one i have to lower the settings, but for me so far no SBHH.

Well it's the only route that's frozen and had error messages outside of railworks that I've tried.

Macbook Late 2008
Windows 7 Home Premium
2.0Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
2 GB DDR3 Ram
Gefore 9400M
160Gb Partition for Windows.

It overheats (in windows only) like crazy. In osx it's never had a problem with anything.
