More problems this morning. This from VT site

Due to signalling problems between Preston and Lancaster all lines are blocked.
Impact:
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 90 mins. Disruption is expected until 11:00 08/11.

Power failure at Bay Horse, complete loss of signalling between there and Lancaster.

Unfortunately they didn't turn (m)any trains round at Lancaster leaving passengers to wait and board overcrowded services which eventually got through. They might as well have let people wait at Preston.
