Tweedbank is due to open up as part of the Waverly Line in I think 2014.
Yes, 2014. But we really should stop calling it the Waverley Line (I'm as guilty as everyone else). Its being called the "Borders Railway" - and I believe we should keep the name Waverley line for that route south of Edinburgh, through Hawick and crucially, forking at Ricarton Junction - south west to Carlisle, and South East to Newcastle.
It may never be rebuilt, but its a very different route, so the 2 should be named differently.
BTW, There is, or was, somone who posted on here who worked out of Tweedmouth depot. Are you there?

As stated by the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change in Parliament in March 2008, exact construction costs cannot be disclosed
