Watford North Curve

i'm planning to catch the 00.19 Watford - Rickmansworth on Monday 20th April in order to travel on Watford North Curve. I'm just wondering if anyone can advise on the chances of this service running on this date.

The last time I tried it was cancelled due to late notice engineering work.

This train does not exist in the current timetable, it is 0049 T440, arr Rickmansworth p2 at 0058. This is also a PSUL crossover fwiw.

Nothing is guaranteed but this should be fairly reliable as the train stables at Rickmansworth South Sidings so firms pay the ‘stock balance’ for the next morning. There are a few overnight works going on in Rickmansworth for 4LM at the moment causing stabling alterations, but it’s too early to say for definite.

On the day disruption may also cause this train to not run, although it is normally quite a reliable one due to its “last train” nature and how these fit into LUL’s safety structure.

Feel free to post nearer the time and I can check the final alterations.

Perhaps the opening post is referring the Sunday night 0019, which of course is technically in the early hours of Monday morning.

Now that it is nearer the time can anyone check if the Sunday night 00.19, technically- Monday morning Watford -Rickmansworth is likely to run this Sunday 19th April. If not are there any other trains this Sunday night likely to run Watford - Rickmansworth direct via Watford North Curve. I understand any infomation is not guaranteed.

There are only alterations to the Uxbridge services on Sunday, Amersham, Chesham, Watford services remain as WTT347

Many thanks for all the infomation. I was successful on Sunday covering the Metropolitan line direct from Watford to Rickmansworth. The service ran as per the timetable.
