Guys,

I live between Watford and Milton Keynes and occasionally enjoy watching the traffic on the WCML, the freight and the sheer speed of the Pendilinos. It's the simple pleasures...!

I tried Cheddington, but the trains seemed a little slow - is there anywhere between MK and Watford that you could recommend where the trains are at full speed, which is accessible by road? Is there a site where the top speeds of the route are shown?

Much appreciated.

James

Berkhampstead would be a good shout, they should be on full tilt as they fly through there.

The speed on the fast lines at Cheddington is the top speed (125EPS) - or at least it was in 2006.

I did have scans of the track diagrams with speeds but I don't know where they'd be now.
