Wasnt I on that train?

Hey everyone, Have you ever read through someones trip report, only to find yourself thinking 'wasnt I on that train?'

For me, this article http://www.mikegtn.net/?id=1314 gave me this experience, as I quite clearly remember being on a train that wasnt a pacer, and was around that time and the same train number.

If you look at my profile pic, its the one on the left, with 150141 on the right (pretty rare eh? two 150's on this line, built one after the other in the factory, in numerical order left to right)


Anyone else care to share their experiences like this?

Lucky for me I had an instinct to get off at Reading to do the Bicester Line as I needed it. If I didn't I would have stayed on!! Rather worrying seeing it on the news after, I feel sorry for those who stayed on past Reading

Yes I have seen a video of me driving pulling into West Croydon.

If I jump off the train at Letchworth, run through the ticket barriers, run through the car park, along the road past Barclays and over the railway bridge, then look down, if I am in time I can say 'Hey, I just got off that train!'

No, when I did my ALR I was looking on youtube for any video's that might have done, think the nearest I got was Ashford Int taken the same afternoon but an hour or two later ...
