Wareham - Waterloo ticket combination question

Hello,

I'd like to travel on the 1528 from Wareham to Waterloo on Wednesday 26th March. I have a Z1-4 season (hence a Gold Card) and I'll have the return portion of a Moreton (Dorset) - Henley-on-Thames Off Peak Return.

The 1528 doesn't stop at Basingstoke it runs fast Winchester - Woking.

What extra ticket do I need to but to travel on this service? I'd like to think I can get away with a Basingstoke - Boundary Zone 4 Off Peak Day Single, but I have a feeling I might have to folk out for a Winchester - Boundary Zone 4 single.

Basingstoke to boundary zone 4 will be fine. As one ticket is a season and the others aren't the train doesn't need to call where any of the tickets join.

19. Using a combination of tickets
You may use two or more tickets for one journey as long as together they cover the entire
journey and one of the following applies:
(a) they are both Zonal Tickets unless special conditions prohibit their use in this
way. The Ticket Seller will, if you ask, advise you whether you can use a Zonal
Ticket in combination with another ticket.
(b) the train you are in calls at a station where you change from one ticket to another;

or
(c) one of the tickets is a Season Ticket (which for this purpose does not include
Season Tickets or travel passes issued on behalf of a passenger transport
executive or local authority) or a leisure travel pass, and the other ticket(s) is/
are not.

Please remember that you need the "NOT VIA READING" ticket (you can save 15p by getting a Basingstoke to New Malden super off peak day single rte. "VIA WOKING" if you wouldn't mind the argument)
