Does anyone know where I can get hold of old BR timetables ? I'm after a mid 1980s BR timetable, and possibly an early 1990s one, but have trawled the web without success.....

eBay is great for that. You've got stuff from not just the UK but overseas. Should be some Thomas Cook ones on there covering European services as well.
I was about to refer you to the revamped Timetable World site (post just below!) but realised that timetables of that era are still in copyright so won't be on it.
Other good source is sheds or old wagons used as sheds of second hand railway books and timetables usually found at most preserved railways.Does anyone know where I can get hold of old BR timetables ? On eBay I can presently see:
May 1984-May 1985
Two copies of Winter '87-'88
Two copies of Summer 1987
Summer 1990
I haven't done an exhaustive search but usually the most relevant lots are within the first five pages.
There is also a 1980s one on Amazon but £50 plus postage is a bit steep

Yes, that method can indeed be hit and miss depending on what is in stock / robust (!) systems in place to link stock with buyers...What search term did you put in ?
TBH I don't find E Bay's search engine is that good, part of the reason my business stopped using E Bay years ago. Our products, esp FM aerials which we specialise in, weren't coming up on the first page of search results and loads of stuff which wasn't even FM aerials was !

You are defn right there, and the prices are far less than on E Bay. However, you need luck that they happen to have it in when you call. One heritage railway (which will remain nameless but sells quite a lot of stuff at its shop) never got back to me after I left my details for stuff they said they got in frequently, so I never bothered asking them again.
British rail passenger timetable I used. What search term did you put in ?

Not UK ones though. There are some 1990s timetables on that site, and pre-revamp a 2007 National Rail one.
May I point out something with your 'footer' quote? 0.8% of hospitalised cases may be under 19, but that pays no attention to how many of that age group carry and spread the virus but are asymptomatic, which is likely to be much higher than other age groups. I fully agree with your urging to be alert for misleading information, but it's misleading to promulgate the impression that under 19s are not part of the C19 problem. BTW, I have a few 1990s timetables - any particular date you need?Does anyone know where I can get hold of old BR timetables ?
