Wanted! 50149 & 50117 Railfrieght Livery

1st off this maybe the wrong place to post, im a noobie, So sorry in advance,

Ok i understand Hornby brough out

Hornby Class 50 50149 Defiance Railfreight livery R2434

However i hear they are like goldust to get ahold of....

Can anyone point me in the right diection? only place i can find is olivias trains but it seems like an old advert, However i have e-mailed them with my fingures crossed...

I would also like to know... is it at all possible.... or does anyone know of someone who is good at custom loco painting and at a resonable cost? I would love to have the same as above but numbered 50117 with name plates (i understand name plates can be hard to source)

I am looking for Hornby Models only with DCC Fitted and Sound

Go on ebay for 50149....... they come up fairly often, but be warned, your gonna need deep pockets

As for 50117, i think your again gonna have to go to ebay and by a model of 50149 and renumber it, i should expect the likes of Shawplan do the nameplates and if you want sound on both models i think you will have to add your own, again, it won't be cheap to get the two locos specced to how you want them, but good luck anyway.

Olivia's Trains do 50s with sound I think. Just google them. Could be wrong tho!

One possibility is to buy 2 sound fitted 50s, 2 50149s and swap the bodies over (renumbering 1 of them) and sell the (now soundless) locos on.
Okay the initial outlay will be a bit steep (unless you do it one loco at a time) but you will get the locos you want fairly easily.
