Currently stuck on 1B95 just outside Harlow Town. It seems like there are a multitude of issues this afternoon. Seems like there was an earlier points failure at Clapton junction earlier (this unfortunately seems quite common the past few weeks), and now we've had an announcement of an overhead power lines issue near Broxbourne. Additionally, everything seems to be losing 5 minutes at Stansted North Junction.

1B95 17:27 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street?
More likely than today’s 20:26 Cleethorpes to Liverpool Lime Street anyway!

Yes. We have been at Harlow Town for a few minutes (doors have been released).

I'm stuck at Bishops Stortford. There are trains in every platform but nothing moving. I was on the way to London for something this evening but looks like I'm not going anywhere!

Not been much better on the rural lines out of Cambridge either. An ipswich train is an hour late for some reason. Very little information as to why?

Left Cambridge 16 late and has progressively lost more and more time .unit fault? The train departing an hour later has caught it up almost?

I was at Liverpool street for the 1738 to Cambridge North, which was cancelled.

It looks like my decision to head for Farringdon and the 1644 Brighton-Cambridge was a good one!
