Thinking about buying a wales flexipass this easter, Does anyone have a tip on good places to visit, particulary north wales?

It depends what you want when you visit! For curmbling old architecture, graffiti and chav spotting, you can't do better than Rhyl!
Only joking, but the most obvious attractions for me in North Wales are the steam railways. The narrow gauge ones are pretty well know, most are reachable from the main line, Welshpool, Tywyn and Porthmadog should not be missed if you want narrow gauge.
The stnadard gauge line at Llangollen is a short bus ride away from either Ruabon or Wrexham. Llanberis and Bala for the lake railways can also be reached by bus. The Snowdon Mountain Railway is a bit expensive and reliant on the weather, you could easily see nothing at all at the summit, as happened to us in 2009!
Other than that, there are lots of castles, old mines, Lloyd George's house near Criccieth, Llandudno - the choice is vast!

Much of the are is scenic outside Valleys and Swansea to Cardiff.
I always enjoy a circle round North Wales using the Ffestiniog Railway (Chester - Llandudno Jn - Blaenau - Porthmadog - Machynlleth - Shrewsbury - Chester. A new variation is including the Welsh Highland which I want to do later in the year.
You need to check the times of these carefully as the FR and WHR run different timetables by season / day of the week. You get 50% discount on both these railways with a FOW.
When you buy the pass you also get a book of discount vouchers for attractions.

Ok thanks. I have my last day of uni before finishing for the easter holidays on monday. Should be finished by 13:00 so if i hurry i can get home before going to Swansea to catch th2 23:45 train to Fishguard & back then get the 04:35 Swansea - Shrewsbury service.
