Waiting time for interview result (Guard position)

Hey guys, anyone have any experience regarding waiting time for interview results?
I had an interview a couple of weeks ago with SWR and was told results will be within 10 days, but it has passed that now. I’m presuming that may be because of the Xmas period, bank holidays etc? Just wondering if anyone had any personal experience.

I heard back within a week, I think it really depends on how urgently they need you and if you did better than others in the interview stage. Obviously there is a pandemic which is delaying things significantly as well.

Guess it depends on what the role is for really and how organised they are. It took about 10 days to hear back from a gateline interview, but only 3 days for a planning interview.

I did hear, could be mess room rumours that all driver recruitment has been cancelled for the time being.

Each TOC would have a different policy.

I did an interview with a TOC in the summer and they did not let me know the (unsuccessful) outcome for four weeks.

It was for a Guard position.

For Guildford? I applied back in December, passed all the tests but haven’t heard anything since...

I just got the call now. I got the job!! Soooo happy. A few knockbacks and rejections, but finally after 3 years i'm in.

Friend of mine had interview with SWR for commercial guard back in feb last year. Had phone call next day offering her the job. (Obviously different times now)

Thanks. No start date yet. Training fully booked up until April.
