Wadhurst Engine 0-4-0 Terrier. Is it an engine?

Hi, very new to this forum, but since I'm a bit of a relic train spotter, i thought id better join.

Anyway, the Wadhurst. Is it a true engine? I have a tri-ang code 3 model. I see this has been talked about before

No, definitely not.

It's a repaint of a Tri-ang Nellie:

The model is painted in a reasonable approximation of LBSC livery, as applied to a Terrier: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LB&SCR_A1_class
Wadhurst I'm presuming is to match the general naming style of this class.

No 79 was actually named Minories. It was sold to the Admiralty in 1918 to work in Chatham Dockyard.
Also, like the rest of the class, it had six wheels, not four.
