Work starts towards the end of November 2009 onwards for the SWML W10 Freight Clearance scheme.

  - Track BK1008 Follow Up
  - Enhancements W10 freight clearance scheme - Junction Road footbridge
  
  5th - 11th December 2009 (168 hrs) 6 Days
  Engineering work between:-
  - Southampton - Northam Jcn
  - Enhancements Southampton to Stafford freight route upgrade.
  - Single Line Working over Down Main

Yes I did mean to put 2009. You can just see South Today and Meridian Tonight stroking themselves over the 6 day possesion between Soton and Northam Jcn.

I expect by then the Meridian brand will be consigned to history. ITV The South Tonight anyone?

Of note though, is as you go between Northam Junction and St Denys, you can see the old Meridian building still complete with that random logo they had.
