VWC & XC booking horizons: aligned?

Morning. I had a note in my diary to check this morning for tickets from Glasgow to Sheffield on Friday 21/10. NR's Booking Horizons tell me that XC are open (up to 21/10), but VWC aren't (up to 14/10).

Since VWC are usually cheaper than XC on this run, will I have to wait a week for the VWC fares to be loaded? Or could they appear later today (Friday 30/7)? I'd prefer to be certain, but not if I end up nabbing a more expensive (and longer) XC fare...

Thanks for any tips.

I'd try every so often, if you have time & really want the cheapest tickets, they could be uploaded at any time! Also I suspect it is possible that they could be loaded onto the system before the National Rail page is updated.

Thanks Yorkie. In fact I've just noticed in the last 30 minutes that VWC fares have been supposedly been loaded up to Wednesday 20 October (the day before I want to travel) ...

I sometimes think I spend more time planning a trip and hunting fares than I actually do travelling...
