Have there been more than normal recently or am I mistaken?

I had the 2000 King's Cross-Sunderland one evening last week minus HST catering vehicle, so First Class very difficult for the crew working from a trolley in a vestibule, and no wifi.

On the basis that I only travelled on two VTEC trains last week, then that's 50% that were short formed.
