#VTECUpdate The Thunderbird rescue locomotive is now attached to the failed train. Power should be restored shortly and train will move towards Newark North Gate.

1A45 (17:45 off Leeds) was the culprit - somewhere around Carlton. Taken by Thunderbird into Newark; arriving at 21:03 - detrained and on the way to Bounds Green at circa 22:15
