VT CSA - application

Hi all, I've been unsuccessful with my VT onboard CSA application after attending assessment If I have another application in the system currently being processed would this automatically be rejected also...is there like in aviation a 6 month gap between applications being accepted? Thanks

No, don't worry. I was unsuccessful in an application and two weeks later was invited to two other interviews for different positions within Virgin. I went thinking i didn't have a hope in hell and was offered a job and started training today!
One of the others I've started with had tried 5 times before they were offered a job.

I myself got a job with virgin only a few months after my first application was rejected at the screening stage, so it definitely can be done! I'm not sure what happens if you fail the aptitude tests, certainly for guards positions there is normally a 6 month block with them but I'm not sure if the same applies to the onboard CSA tests. Did you pass the tests and make it through to the other parts of the day?

In any case, you've got some practice now which should help you with your Chester application, so you have a positive there.

Good luck anyway, and if you do get the Chester job, you may end up feeling relieved you were turned down for Euston! Speaking as someone who's worked with the crews at both depots, I know which I'd rather be based at......

I passed all tests to get through to the final interview, I read on VT website that there must be a 6 month gap if applying for the same position...just going to have to be patient as I only want onboard CSA
