I will be Delticing on Friday 4th March, I want to return home at about 16.00 with Virgin. What's the best price?

Thanks.

Your best bet is to book an AP single online, the price should be the same from any website. I don't think Virgin offer a discount for using their own website.

If the train you want calls at Milton Keynes, you could try splitting there; this is cheaper for walk-on tickets but is less likely to be cheaper for AP tickets.

An Anytime Single (FOS) is a whopping £107.50.

The 16:03 from Euston will be £23 for an advance ticket at child rate. It is £43 at adult rate and £30.35 with a railcard discount

Adult Fares Euston to Coventry, Friday 4th March 2011 :

16:03/16:23/16:43- 46.00
17:03/17:23- 75.00
17:43/18:03/18:23/18:43/19:03- 37.00

Evening meal (subject to availability) is served 17:03-18:43 departures, although unsurprisingly without the cheese & biscuits option, owing to the very short journey time.

Sorted- Thanks :D

I would insert a pound sign above, but my keyboard has currently got a very annoying setup, where the @ sign is actually shift+2, and shift+3 gets # instead of poundsign... Does anyone know how i can change it back?

As a general comment it looks like your computer thinks it's american or has an american keyboard. You need to tell it it isn't / it hasn't.

Methods of doing this vary.

Solution was control panel- 'regional and language options'- languages- click details box- change from English US to English United Kingdom (i.e. the "proper way" ;) )
