You are correct, sorry, was mixing this up with the 0600 Leeds to Plymouth.

How often do HST's run on the WCML?

None regularly scheduled these days other than the NMT (Network Rail), which you cannot travel on of course.

The only other occasions are when East Coast services are diverted over the Tyne Valley and you'll see HST's between Carlisle and Carstairs.
