Hi All

With me having a great amount of luck and having my day off today, I could not but help head over to the WCML to see the new Vossloh 68 finally take to the mainline. After being towed into Carlisle station from Kingmoor by 47853, the 47 then detached from the front of the loco and hired in 90020 reversed onto the front of the train which then proceeded with it to Crewe.

I managed to get my shot as both 90020 and 68002 headed through Lancaster with 11 mk2's in tow. A link with my shot can be seen below:-

looks like 47501 has taken it back north to Carlisle tonight as 90020 has stayed at Crewe Gresty Green Lane......so wonder if it is going on its own tomorrow under the 11:02 path from Carlisle
