Volvo "BR8" badging (not B8R)

The rear of Richards Bros. (TrawsCymru T5) Volvo B8RLE MCV eVoRa BU26 WVL has "Volvo BR8 Euro 6" badging rather than the usual "Volvo B8R Euro 6" badging.

As far as I know, the name of the chassis hasn't changed from B8R(LE) to BR8(LE), so I'm assuming that this is an oopsie?

I had previously seen 24 reg examples where the "Volvo B8R" was entirely missing, so they just said "Euro 6" and "MCV" on the back.

Does anyone in here know what would cause these errors / inconsistencies?

I think that they've just been stuck on in the wrong order - more cockup than conspiracy!

Not very good is it! Assuming that it was MCV that did that, they need to pay more attention!

Well I was thinking that, but nethertheless, when something is made you'd expect it to be made correctly, down to every little detail. Any far worse things happening in the world right now don't prevent a badge from being applied with the characters the right way round.

This would be a Bus & Coach World issue as they was the ones that paint the then plain white buses

It's a minor issue on the face of it, but it shows a lack of attention to detail on the part of MCV. What other bits have they got the wrong way round?

Ah thanks, I did wonder. Still, they are a company and should be paying more attention than the guy with the "Citrëon" (not Citroën) van.

Someone’s taken the badge off to paint the bus and put it back on the wrong way around, I’d say.

AFAIK the "B8R" is comprised of individually fitted letters, i.e they're not attached to each other unlike many other badges.
So I'd say someone just wasn't paying attention when they put them on!

MCV recently delivered a batch of 31 seat buses to a major operator with one of the seating capacity notices stating that they had 32 seats.
