Whenever I use BVE4 and go on Route West Midlands, all I can see out of the cab is a white screen and before that it says 'the number of errors exceeds the limit'

The sound is ok and the train operates, but it's not much use not being able to see anything out of the cab.

Is it a problem with BVE4 or more likely to be problems with my own computer?

Just another point, do you get outside views of the train on this like you do on MTS?

Are you sure everything is in the correct location, such as the objects?

Also you can't get outside views but it makes it more realistic IMHO.

What is your graphics card and driver version?

If BVE installs to C:\Program Files\mackoy\bve4 then;

Ensure the objects go in C:\Program Files\mackoy\bve4\Railway\Object
Ensure the sounds go in C:\Program Files\mackoy\bve4\Railway\Sound
Ensure the routes go in C:\Program Files\mackoy\bve4\Railway\Route
Ensure the trains go in C:\Program Files\mackoy\bve4\Train

That might solve your problem

I used to have the same problem with the white screen thing. What operating system are you using and what graphics card? I am unfortunately running ME and the newest Nvidia drivers are known to cause problems with this operating system so I was advised to go to the driver before. Problem was solved.

As far as I know the latest nVidia Driver update has fixed the problem with BVE TS 4, it works with XP but no idea with other OS.

I'll have to ask about the graphics card, but I'm on Windows 2000. The Uchibo line generally has no problems - I can see what's outside.

I downloaded the southern 'Clarendon' network as well and it's is the same as the Midlands (Network West Midlands) with the grey screen. The one that works is the Uchibo line. I'll try out the London Underground and see if that works.
