Of course if the requirement is to enter St Pancras ‘main train shed’ you’ll need Eurostar. Both EMR and SE are in the modern extensions, so could logically be bracketed with the TL low level platforms as far as tradition goes.

For another option if using Paddington main train shed is a requirement you could use Crossrail to Heathrow and use the Express to return, at a cost premium of course. But it has to be balanced against an otherwise unnecessary trip half way to Reading…
