Virgin XC depots

Just wondering what Edinburgh, Newcastle and Leeds driver depots for XC sign routewise and tractionwise. Just trying to figure out how things are going to attempt to work under Arriva with the crews and turns given a loss of West Coast work and a surplus of staff. If anyone can help me with this?

I would have thought that under TUPE the Edinburgh staff will be offered a transfer to First TransPennine
The remaining staff will continue as before between Aberdeen and Newcastle on Voyagers (non-tilt)

I thought EDB TM's work to Leeds? or is that just the retail services manager?

I'm guessing Leeds sign Newcastle, Doncaster, Pontefract, down as far as Sheffield or they go further??

Edinburgh i take it Aberdeen, couple of diversions here and there, and as far as Newcaslt?? again not sure but a guess.

Cross-Country has depots at: Birmingham New Street, Bournemouth, Brighton, Bristol Temple Meads, Derby (Drivers only), Edinburgh Waverley, Leeds, Longsight (Manchester) and Plymouth - all former Virgin XC. Former Central Trains depots are at Birmingham New Street, Cambridge, Leicester and Nottingham. Surprisingly there is no depot at the main Central Rivers maintenance base near Burton-on-Trent.

In the past XC staff, based at Edinburgh, used to only work between Edinburgh and Carlisle or Preston, and Edinburgh and Newcastle
The Aberdeen - Plymouth used to be covered by six members of staff on rota, between Aberdeen and Edinburgh or Carlisle (flexibility based on weekly hours worked)
Most Glasgow departures were worked by Edinburgh staff, some travelling passenger between Glasgow and Edinburgh

That still happens and some GLC XC Retail Services Mangers now go over to EDB and work their trains, if staff shortage or I think, if a double voayger is working a service via WCML.
