I got 'rejected after screening' on my application for the CSA at Preston. Just checked now after being on holiday for two weeks.

I don't have an email though? Can anyone tell me what it means? I presume they shortlist 50 or so applications and then wittle them down further?

Gutted as I got to an event last month too, oh well, onwards and upwards.

Argh this is agonising, I've not heard anything at all for the one I applied for, the application status still says open

Patience, patience. It is possible to have to wait up to two months to be invited to a rail recruitment event.

I still haven't heard back from the shunter driver role at Blackpool for northern rail, has anyone else? This is my only current outstanding application.

It still says 'New submitted application'

Noticed that some conductor jobs have come up for Northern as well, so will apply for some of those aswell.

I will get there eventually!
