Virgin Trains to Blackpool

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know what frequency Virgin Trains' London services to Blackpool were at by the time they were withdrawn? I can't find anything on the Internet.

According to a 'Rail Advent' article in May 2019, linked to below, it was eight direct services each weekday and five services on a Saturday between Blackpool (North) and London (Euston), which were all operated by Virgin Trains. VT services ceased in early December 2019 when Avanti took over the franchise. Perhaps someone on here might have a record of the actual train times.

Northbound (M-F) were at 0646, 0854, 1036 and 1633
Southbound at 0530, 1054, 1303 and 1502
So 8 services in total, not 8 each way as you might have interpreted from the wording of the article!

Thanks for clarifying. What were the (= five?) Saturday services?

I remember using one weeks before the pandemic. It was great, but not very busy. Although I did notice there was quite a few young people from London that had got off at Blackpool. Perhaps it encouraged a small day trip market?
