Virgin Trains pizzas

I really love pizza and that price is really good - takeaway companies often charge double (sometimes triple) that! It's just a shame Virgin don't run any services anywhere near me.

"Can I have it at Preston please?"

"Certainly sir, which service and where will you be sitting?"

"I mean to collect!"



As for haggis pizzas, they're alright but nothing special and I really like haggis.

Your local London bus isn't the 279 by any chance is it? I'm not sure I've ever been on one that hasn't had at least one discarded chicken and chips box somewhere on board. That bus seems to just be a conveyor of people from one cheap takeaway joint to another. :?

So you have no problem me eating a cold pasty from greggs on the train, but if it happens to be hot because it has just been cooked then you think I'm in the wrong? I don't think that makes any sense at all!

I'm not judging whether you're right or wrong here (I've eaten a bit of hot food on a train myself), but I just wanted to respond to the comment about it not making sense. Hot food conveys its smell over a greater distance than cold food, so merely heating the same item of food up will mean that a lot more people nearby will be able to smell it than they could if it were cold.

I'd rather sit next to someone eating a hot cheese & tomato panini than someone eating a cold egg mayo sandwich.

One of my friends has a "no eggs, no fish" rule on board trains!!

Eating hot food on a bus or train is more than a little inconsiderate and anti-social. National Express bans hot food from their buses, and Overground asks its customers not to eat hot food on its trains; I think all train companies should follow suit - and serve only cold snacks and sandwiches on board. There are few things worse when travelling than sitting on a train that smells like a takeaway.

What about bacon buttes? Surely you can't ban them!
