What sort of speed would a 73 on diesel acheive on the GWML to Reading given the load?

Could it have been routed via Brixton and Clapham Junction on to the Windsor lines to remain on 3rd rail. Note I said COULD, I realise there would probably be all sorts of problems sending it via this route, just is it possible?
