Virgin Trains "Advance fares calendar"

I'm looking to travel from London to Morecambe (via Lancaster) on Sat 2nd May (the bank holiday weekend) returning on the Sunday.

According to the Virgin Trains "Advance fares calendar" that weekend isn't available to book yet, but the following weekend and the Sunday after (17th) are.

But if I look at the following weekend's (9th/10th) fares, to get an idea of how much I might need to pay, there's no Advance fares available for then. Do they sell out that quickly at weekends?

There is a chance they're being held because of potential engineering works or another problem which they may not get clarification on until later. The best way to work out what you'll be expecting to pay will be on brfares where you can see a list of the Advance Purchase tiers.
