Virgin train diagrammed routes

Hi all, Does anyone know how to tell which Virgin services out of Euston are to be 9 carriage or 11 carriages? (Aside from turning up and looking, that is).

I'm not sure whether they have set diagrams to be honest.

Do you know what service in particular you were enquiring?

There are set diagrams but it's not as straightforward as saying all the services to A from B at time C have D carriages.

Are the Euston to Scotland via Birmingham services supposed to be 9 car Pendolinos (or 2x Voyagers)? They are always advertised at Birmingham International as a 9 coach Pendolino service. Saying that, the last time I used it an 11-car Pendo turned up. The rear two coaches were hanging off the platform at Haymarket.

No not necessarily, I think more are actually supposed to be 11 cars than 9.

I might be also using these sevices on a Monday in June...what's the chance that they are 11 coach pendolino's generally on a Monday...or are we too far off to tell?

All four are 11 car 390s. Diagrams susceptible to change in May so couldn't tell you about June.

It's going to Manchester and Liverpool at various times on various days of the week, very variable unfortunately.

How is it or where is it that you're looking these up? Being able to do so myself would be excellent.

I realise that I might turn up and it might be different, but it should at least give me a better chance of being on an 11 rather than a 9.
